“We have just returned from our daughters wedding and it was the best day ever. From start to finish it was the perfect day. The wedding co-ordinator was marvellous, a real treasure. She saw to it that everything ran smoothly and it did. Everyone knows what they are doing to make the day hassle free. The wedding breakfast was the best I've ever had and so said many of our guests. Everyone has commented what a fabulous day, you should see the very positive comments on 'Facebook'! We have some lovely photo and many happy memories of the day. It's a shame it had to end.”

“My class visited Samlesbury Hall today, from Bowerham School in Lancaster. We had a wonderful time, your staff, particularly 'Mistress Marjorie' were fantastic and very friendly and helpful. I can honestly say, it was one of the most enjoyable school trips I have led. All the children had a great time and the staff were all telling everyone in school how much they had enjoyed their visit.”

“I am so looking forward to visiting the Hall, again. My father would bring us there in the late '40's. I was just a child but I never forgot what an occasion it was. I have lived in the 'states for most of my life but I never forgot how much having tea on a Sunday afternoon meant to all of us. I am so looking forward to trying to fit in a visit and to be there once again, whether it be lunch, tea or dinner. ”

“I visited today for the Easter event with my 4yr old Granddaughter, she really enjoyed the children's activities and was spell bound by the story teller.
I was impressed that we were able to wander around and explore, taking in the atmosphere and experience the historic schoolroom. My Granddaughter thought the Hall was magical. We will be visiting again very soon, Thankyou

“Came across this on things to see in Lancashire!! My boys love history especially my 9 year old and it just so happened Henry VIII was doing a tour that day so off we went. It was a beautiful late summer day and the house looked stunning in the sun!! We enjoyed the tour and had lunch too followed my a slice of cake and scones!! Perfect Sunday morning and afternoon. Would highly recommend,we're going back next Sunday to see the witch and here her stories.”
