Southworth Spa is a private outdoor spa retreat with exclusive use of:
- Wood-fired hot tub
- Outdoor sauna
- Plunge shower
- Fire pit
Your stay also includes a luxury shepherd’s hut for sleeping and a separate sitting hut for relaxing.
Is Southworth Spa private?
Yes — the spa area is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, giving you complete privacy to relax and unwind.
How many people can stay at Southworth Spa?

Is Southworth Spa suitable for groups?
Yes — Southworth Spa works beautifully for small group getaways and celebrations. The spa acts as a shared space, with additional huts providing accommodation for your group; up to 25 huts are available, sleeping 2-4 in each hut. We have hosted hen parties, stag groups, corporate teams, and friendship groups.

Absolutely — Southworth Spa is designed as a private, relaxing retreat for two, making it ideal for romantic escapes as well as shared stays.
Do we have access to the wider grounds of Samlesbury Hall?

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is between 4pm–5pm, and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional charge.
Is there WiFi and mobile signal?
Yes — free WiFi is available. Most major networks offer strong 5G coverage in the area, with O2 providing reliable 4G. You can check coverage using postcode PR5 0UP.
