Skirmish! at Samlesbury Hall – A Perfect Summer Holiday Day Out!

Step back in time and experience life as it was in the 1470s at our Living History Weekend, featuring the brilliant Sir John Saville’s Household! Over two action-packed days, Samlesbury Hall will be transformed into a bustling late Medieval scene full of sights, sounds, and smells from the past.

  • Thrilling outdoor combat demonstrations

  • Authentic living history camp
  • 15th century-style food displays & historical cooking

Delicious food and drink is available at The Garden Room Eatery, Or, enjoy a medieval hog roast in the Hall’s Italianate courtyard.

Let the kids burn off energy on the adventure playground, not forgetting our incredible 700 year old Hall.

Maria’s Tea Room & Gift Shop will be open serving ice-creams, coffees and cakes.

Don’t miss it – two days only!
Fun, fascinating, and FREE to explore – voluntary donations are welcomed.
